This is a clear polycarbonate body parts set of the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR race car. It is made out of 1mm thick polycarbonate. The set includes masking seals for the windows and a sticker set to replicate the Carrera RSR Team livery. Features: Side mirror part is molded separately in black ABS plastic. Includes marking stickers to depict the car in its famous livery with the Martini racing stripes Compatible with TT-01, TT-01 Type-E and TT-02 chassis (short wheelbase). Painted car shown for illustrative purposes only.

Great detail and proportions
Writing this right after finishing the paint on this body. Tamiya scale bodies are very well done and this one is no exception. I owned a 1969 911 and this 10th scale body captures the proportions and gets the details right. There are a few unusual details in the molding that I haven't figured out (like the small circle on the front trunk lid) but they don't really detract from the finished look when painted. The polycarbonate is reasonably thick and sturdy on the upper body, but quite thin down in the lower area, so some reinforcing would be a good idea if you plan to race or run it hard.
