The brackets work great. Helps the double din fit nice and snug. The trim piece is so so. Doesn't actually cover the alterations you have to do to the dash to make a double din fit. One side fits s lil tighter then the other. But way cheaper then buying a new dash designed for a double din.

It looks so promising! And yes, I knew the dash would need cut. It came with instructions on where to cut. That's not the problem. The problem is the face plate cover was long and too short. : I was still able to use it but see pictures. : For the face plate it came with: - I cut off the 4 clips (They looked like they should clip in to the dash but did not and ended up in the way). - I cut off the left and right sides (removing the top and bottom skinny peices leaving the "ears"). - I used these two peices to close the exposed gaps. See green arrows. ------- Dash Mod: - Note the red lines on photo of dash / radio. - I cut out a notch for the USB port. - The top needed the most cutting. - I used a small detail saw to do this. - I tried to sand it smooth. - I then took a small blow torch to heat the edges and attempted to round the harsh angles the cuts made by using my fingers while it was still hot / soft. (Mr Obvious says be careful if you try this too!) ------- For the radio: - I ended up keeping the 2 dim radio behind the original dash so it's pushing from the inside out against the original dash (not protruding out of original dash peice like most aftermarket radios would). - The mounts it came with worked great for this without modifications. - I used the two peices marked with the green arrows to close in the holes. (I should have made a bracket and attached them flush to the radio front but I glued them inside the dash and that is why the left side has a small gap) ------ Bonus Tip: I put in another cigarette lighter port (bottom left) and attached the hot wire to the radio power so now when i shut off the key, my dash cam doesn't drain the battery)Read full review

First of all I ordered this mainly for the radio brackets as I plan to modify my dash bezel without needing the facia trim ring. In the meantime however it works great and still looks good! I did not have to modify the radio rear support as it says in the instructions, if you peel the foam off the support and leave the brackets a little loose you can slide the stereo all the way in and mark the brackets then line up your brackets to the marks and tighten down and slowly slide the stereo back in. It fits tight but it should fit! Of course if you don't care then hack the rear support and don't worry about it! I didn't want to modify the actual dash any more than absolutely necessary and so far I haven't other than removing the foam tape. Yes I am doing a dash swap to replace my broken dash so I had it easy if I needed to modify the dash but would rather leave as much support as I can so this dash has a chance to last!Read full review
