Very light, very portable, very enjoyable to play. I’m happy with the guitar. It has a nice look and a good feel. I was looking for a short-scale guitar with a wide nut and wide string spacing, to keep the strings easier to fret and to avoid damping needed notes. This Yamaha has all that.

There is nothing outstanding about this little guitar. Like every low cost Yamaha guitar that I've every owned it is a cut above the average in some respects. Meaning there are no sharp frets ends and the fit and finish is nice. But this guitar does not stay in tune and the intonation is poor, especially at the higher frets. Ibanez makes a 1/2 size cedar top classical guitar which is a better choice than this one. This is not one of Yamaha's best offerings.

Well built awesome look plays sweet for the size and price I like playing accords and Bosa Nova style, due to illness a regular guitar was a problem when in bed or recliner so I needed a small body guitar. Loved it I really find it a bargain at this price.
