  • Works great

It’s nice to get quality tools like this. I cannot tell you How unhappy it is for me to buy a tool and go home and have it do unheard of things. Was using punch today and the thing bent like a joke hook trying to set a nail. Unbelievable. I stick with this brand for bike tools no sense eating time on low quality other brands. My time valuable like everyone else’s. So time buy quality is my motto

  • very well designed tool

As a Mechanical Engineer, I think this tool is very well made and fits the Shimano rear hub MF-TZ21 very well. Both of my sons bikes use the same rear hub and one had recently lost his spoke protector. I considered making the tool instead of buying it but at $8, it seemed an easy choice to buy it instead. It was a good decision as the tool fit the rear hub well, and easily removed the hub from freewheel/cassette.

  • Park Tool FR-1.3 Bicycle Freewheel Remover Tool gets the job done right every time.

The Park Tool FR-1.3 Bicycle Freewheel Remover does exactly what it is supposed to do. Removes the freewheel with an attached wrench or appropriate socket wrench very quickly and easily. Switching out freewheels for different bicycle trip requirements is a breeze. Replacing broken spokes that require freewheel removal no problem. Another great product from Park Tool. Don't mess around with cheap products and waste your money. Have sound peace of mind with this tool that will serve the homebased bicycle mechanic for many years to come.

  • Does it's job as expected!

This is a freewheel remover tool! The best I've tried so far! All splines of this tool are able to make full contact with all the spline grooves inside the freewheel body! This tool has a big hole that is large enough to fit over the cone nut on the way down toward the freewheel spline! So it will save time and potential inconvenience! Just remove the lug nut that attaches to the bicycle frame and slide this tool onto the freewheel body! Use a 1" socket or a pipe wrench! Me, I used a 1 inch socket piece that has a 1/2" adapter hole with a breaker bar!

  • The tool is strong. Park Tools brand costs more but does the job well

I was thinking about getting a cheapo Chinese tool for much less, but glad I did not. I read that many of those are aluminum painted black, but thought if I could use it once it would be worth it. After seeing how much force it took to remove the Freewheel on my bike (probably overtightened when last installed), I realized you need a tool made of real tool grade hardened steel, which the park tool is. This thing can stand up to abuse. Cheap alloy wouldn't have done the job.

  • Another great bike tool from Park Tool!

It does exactly what it needs to do, is great quality, and should last for years of use. Don;t waste your money on chinee-sium tools that break or deform after using just a few times. Every Park Tool tool I have bought - I still have and they are as good as new. What more can you say?

  • The only way to go for your e-bike!

This is the only freewheel remover that has a big enough hole in the center for the larger 5/8" diameter axle on my two e-bikes (one is a trike!). Now I don't have to use a carbide tool to enlarge the hole, which is a daunting prospect, creating millions of steel micro-splinters in the process. THANK YOU!

  • Park Tool

I have used this tool and it works vary well, there are just some jobs that you just can not do with out the right toll. you just insert the tool in to the gear on the wheel, hold the wheel up to a wall while you holding on to the rim. use a adjustable wrench and turn it to the left. and your done!

  • Excellent tool

Although this was a used item, it was still in excellent condition. The tool worked great and helped me complete my bike project.

  • Take care of your rims or..buy this!

A strong, well designed tool for hub removal, used on a Dahon Mariner 6 speed hub. Watch their youtube videos! Had to buy new rims due to storing in steel shed. Over years..heat/ cold snapped 7 spokes ea rim. Expansion and contraction. Store inside long term. Dont forget chain whip 🌞
