spoke holder
It works fine on my Sapim cx ray bladed spokes, only reason I bought tool. It won't work on Dura Ace bladed spokes that come, for example, on my C-24 wheels. What I did was take a piece of wood, and cut a slot that fits the Dura Ace spokes. You can actually do this for the Sapim cx ray spokes also. Nice thing to have in the toolbox
Yeah, you could use a little crescent wrench to hold the bladed spokes while you adjusted the tension on the nipples, but it might scratch the paint. Great tool for general bladed spoke wheel maintenance
Simple easy to use bladed spoke tool - that fits a variety of bladed spoke thickness. Great price too. I recommend this tool as a basic maintenance tool if you need to adjust the true of bladed spoke wheels. Came in handy on a set of Shimano and vuelta wheels that needed a little bit of tune up.
