These Ds18 SLC8S 4 ohm single voice coil 8" subwoofers have a 3.85" mounting depthπ, works very well in my single cab pickup GMC Sierra 4x4; these subs are conservatively rated for 200 watts rms each, meaning they handle more power! This practicality in the design, engineering, and making great electronics for great prices, with LOTS of options to choose from, and the sheer ruggedness of just these entry level awesome subwoofers, is what has EARNED my business and approval of Ds18.com, WE LIKE IT LOUD: not just a slogan, these guys are SERIOUS Bassheadsπβ€π. Easy to install, connection a cakewalk with the fine quality terminals being part of the sub, the strength, rigidity, and motor power of these is obvious upon unboxing π how bad?ss these subwoofers truly are! Lots of bass for this money!
Impressive for an 8" sub, at this price. It can handle almost all the low frequencies, but don't force it too low. I guess a good box can help with that, a little bit. I've got 2 of these in a ported box and they sound pretty well. Good bass for this price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
