Dip Meters need Upgrading in power supply.
This diode IS alot better than type in old power supply. Lower reverse current and high PIV. I did not have time to make measurements of parameters. Compared to other 1N4007s these have shorter, smaller diameter leads, poor printing. Tested them with diode tester and component tester. They will work under average conditions, but may fail before reaching published limits. Working good so far. 40 hours.
Chained these in series to make double diodes, in the biasing circuits, to replace VD1221's, which are garbage double diodes. I have 40 hours using these on my high powered receiver now, with no problems.
