Parallel operation of diodes does NOT double the capacity of the circuit, Common very useful product. If this had been invented 120 years ago...wow!
common part,that is used in power supplies, Can be configured for half wave, or full wave rectification, Full wave requires four diodes, half wave, just one, it does NO good to put them in parallel to "double" the carrying capacity, one of the two wil conduct due to it's slightly miniscule forward voltage required, stealing the current and voltage, from the other diode, preventing forward conduction, I am looking for work btw,,,,,,620 333 2939.
