A little bit of tweaking will yield a good result
The package has everything you need to make it happen. The reason i did not rate it 5 stars? Depending on how old your m85 Taurus is depends on how much tweaking will be needed. I have a newer one (bull rubber grips) so I had to do the following. Shorten pin on the bottom of the revolver so it would fit in the grips - not a big deal, just have some sharp dikes (pliers) handy and cut to fit. A metal file was also used to file sharp edges on both ends of the pin. After that hurdle I had to clip off some of the plastic pegs (shorten) them so that they would fit into the handle. Overall I am happy with it. Just be prepared to do a little tweaking because I dont think it will just bolt on without some minor modification. I have not shot the gun since the grip installation but its definitely a better grip and feel vs the stock grips.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Slightly difficult to install but gives more control of the gun when shooting.
My Taurus grip was held on with a roll pin. You will need to shorten this pin to install the AT grip. I used a angle grinder to get close, then filed to get a tight fit. Go slow and don't take too much off. Because I have a bad thumb on one hand I used a plastic faced clamp to pull the grip together for the screws and for the inserts as well. The inserts gave me fits. In shooting with .357 158 gr. with the factory grip the revolver would roll back in my hand. The AT grip keeps this from happening but you will feel it in the web of your hand. All in all it does what I expected it to, more control and less repositioning of the gun in my hand. Not for me.
Taurus 605 grip fills in most of area behind trigger guard and handle....only allows a 2-1/2 finger grip. Liked appearance of this grip for this reason. 2 parts / front and back. Back is nice rubber. Front is a harder material with great surface texture (weird: felt like sand on hands! Kept wiping them off...). Gap in fitment between 2 parts....gave up on trying to insert the plastic inserts....beavertail should lessen recoil flip....but blocks thumb from cocking hammer for single-action. Went back to Taurus' grip....this one went back in box. Sorry! Did not like.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Material quality is very good. Not the easiest grip to install. Roll pin needs to be ground down to accept new grip. Lining up the front and back of the ATI grip takes some patient effort but they do go together. The 6 inserts can test one's patience. Once it's all together it looks and feels great. It works
I bought this for my Taurus ultrelite. It feels great in your hand. The bad about it at least with my experience is it has a little play to it not much but just enough to notice, it's not a huge pain to put on but wasn't as fast as putting on a set of wood grips, and there is almost no padding on the trigger guard so whenever you fire the weapon you have to watch your knuckles or the will get a painful tap from the recoil. All in all tho it is a pretty good grip. Definitely make the firearm look a lot better and feel great in the hand.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Poor Fit
Two piece Grip. Could not fit both pieces to gun. One would fit and then couldn't get second piece to fit and mate correctly with the first piece. Taurus 85UL "Raging Hog"
It was a bit tricky to install, but by no means difficult. Getting the 2 modules to connect all the way was not easy and took several tries. The 2 top inserts will not go in if the grip modules are not lined correctly. Once the module correctly lines up, everything goes into place with little effort. The fit is perfect and has no play. The quality is similar to modern tactical duty firearms. The trigger reach will be extended 1" and retraining will be needed. Hammer manipulation will also need to be retrained. These grips allow prolonged use of the firearm with powerful defensive ammo. It will give better 2 handed control for faster follow up shots. There is enough clearance to use HKS 36-A Speedloaders.
