Carbeurator Kit for Craftsman Weedwacker Model 316-79119
The kit came as advertised. It did not have a craftsman/mtd/zama brand name on it. The kit does not include the MTD Fuel Tank/fuel filter part #753-06250 or an Genuine MTD Carb gasket part# 753-06253 . Install took about 15 minutes. My weedwacker started up right away - and took a couple of minutes to tune at idle and max. IMO, this kit saved me time for cleaning/rebuild of the original carb. But, I will eventually get it cleaned up. Don't know what the long term outcome will be, but hopefully for a couple of years. Good value and time saverVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Carb fits
The carburetor seems to be the correct one as well as the tool to adjust it . I was able to use the fuel filter as well. That's about it The engine runs and idles but is hesitates at first when throttled up and seems to not reach full RPM no matter how I adjust it. As far as everything else, in order to use the included spark plug I would have to remove a shroud held on by four screws and the recoil assembly which is held on by more screws because the hex part of the plug is larger than the original so the plug wrench won't fit thru the shroud. The fuel line reminded me of soft licorice and broke apart several times. I wound up having to re use the old lines. The air filters don't fit my model either. If you just need a carburetor and tool it may work for you but most of the extras are useless.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Looks great, just doesn't fit craftsman 71119 25cc as stated.
It does not fit the model craftsman 71119 25cc. The vent hole does not properly line up to the engine mount. It is 1/8 further distance then original part. I had to use a dremel and ingenuity to make it work.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
