With the law changing on us here in California we need 10 round mags. Robertson Trading post to the rescue. After looking at a lot of questionable looking used stuff up for auction, it was nice to find this buy it now deal. Mec Gar makes quality magazines. They tell me at my local gun shop that they have contracts to make OEM magazines for new guns. I don't doubt it every Mec Gar magazine I have bought has functioned flawlessly. Mec Gar does not make the 10 rounder for the 69 series. The 59 series will work but in my opinion looks dumb hanging out the bottom of the grip and kind of defeats the purpose of a compact grip. The company that Robertson had make the new shorter plastic floor plate did a good job; not quite as tight a fit as the original Mec Gar floor plate but snugs up perfectly flush with the 669 grip I have and worked with no problems at all when I shot about 100 rounds through it today. I would recommend this mag to a friend. This was my first purchase ever from Robertson Trading Post, I will look to them in the future for any other needs that might come my way.Read full review

Very nice magazine which is a ten round (I live in CA, sadly, and all original 356TSW mags were 12 round). As S&W site states, this mag should fit. I had to do a minor bit of filing on the mag so it would latch. Now I need to get some 356TSW ammo to see if it feeds properly.

I have never had Mec-Gar magazines before. But since it is so hard to find S&W factory magazines for certain models, I purchased these Mec-Gars. They fit fine and operate fine and the price was reasonable.
