You get what you pay for.
Receives fairly well but lacks filters and rejection. Strong AM band signals bleed over on SW bands. FM receives well. Audio has a somewhat of a tinny sound. Like all cheaper radios susceptible to electronic interference. DSP is nice feature as it locks onto signals. Works best away from urban areas. Interesting small, compact, pocket sized multiband radio receiver
I bought it because it is a small, compact radio receiver. My example actually works OK. It is not super great though as on the short wave bands it doesn't receive as well as I had hoped. Great radio for the size and price
The Kaito KA321 radio is a great radio for the price and size. It is a true pocket size radio, that gives good FM stereo reception indoors. Before I got this radio, I had purchased 4 or 5 other small radios trying to get one that would allow me to listen to radio inside the building I work in. The Kaito is the first one that gave me decent reception indoors. I also take it to baseball games so I can listen to the AM broadcasts of the games.
