I used to have a Yamaha years ago but sold it. Planning on taking it up again. The seems like it will be a good guitar for that.

I bought this guitar for my niece, that is just beginning to play. I think this guitar will go a long way into her future, it is a very nice quality, and sound for the money. The package comes with every thing needed to get started. She is very excited about it, thanks for making me a hero!

This guitar was delivered with the strings a quarter of an inch away from the frets. I had to file the saddle down several times for the strings do drop closer to the frets. Then I had to readjust strut rod. In the process, the small e string broke. Had to replace the strings. Works perfect now!

I bought this guitar for my daughter, who is a bit of a prodigy. At age 15 she is writing and singing her own songs. She basically picked this guitar up and learned to play it in about 2 weeks. I've played lots of different guitars. I own Seagull, Alvarez, and Ibanez acoustics, and an Ovation acoustic/electric. This Yamaha is very easy to play and looks and sounds great. It actually sounds better than some of my much-more-expensive guitars. Yamaha does a great job with quality control. I'm really impressed!

This guitar kit was exactly what I was looking for. Everything was in great condition and works well.
