I like to use this grade of polymer clay for a lot of my sculpting projects because it gives a very realistic finish that is similar to a cold-cast type of product and can easily be painted. Some of the other Sculpey products are more suited to making jewelry or more glass like objects and figures, but this is more like the original Polyform and can be extended with thinners or conditioners to a much more pliable, paste like consistency, and it can be used like a coating of gesso over an armature, yet bakes up to look like solid piece of Sculpey. A good product to experiment with and use when you don't necessarily need the finest, smoothest product in specific, high quality colors. Looks a bit like limestone and can be made to look rough-cut or polished. Get some and have some fun.

This is a very soft clay, very easy to condition. If you are looking for firm clay, this is not for you. Love the size, white is almost always used in canes and the 3 pounds gives you plenty to work with.
