I consider my self to be a good cook. However, I could never cook rice properly. It turned out scorched on the bottom and was one big gob of goo rice stuck together. This is a wonderful rice cooker. It could not be easier and is basically fail proof. I don't know why I did not buy on sooner. I guess because I had no idea how well they worked. Cleanup is a snap with the non-stick coating on the cooking pot.

Nice, compact, easy to clean. My disappoinment is the timer. It doesn't give the time count down until it hits 10 min before it's done, it just has chasing lines. Thus makes it very difficult to determine when the rice will be done especially when you're. making various amounts. I'd love to see the countdown from the beginning.
