This is a great subwoofer, kicker has always made a great product. My only issue was paying 150 for this it doesn't seem worth it. My oppinion , this sub should sell for about 75 to 90 dollars. I have it on a 250 rockford amp but am running it at 4 ohm, so it's only pushing 125 rms and 250 ish max. The sub clips at a low amp setting and maxes out fast. It's not even 300watt max in my opinion. I hooked this up 1 ohm at first and the amp pushed it hard on all the lowest settings. I'd recommend this sub, it has good sound quality and bass for the most part but if you tested this against other subs it probably wouldn't hold 1st place. I expected way more from this being a new redesigned sub, also 150. Like I said, you buy this sub for $150 put it in a .5cf box you'll see, you'll say it's only worth about $75Read full review

They worked fine for about a week then one started popping. I removed them and put my old kickers(200 Watts) back in my enclosure. No problem with those at all . Same amplifier. I thought 400 watt kickers (dual voice coil) would be better. I was wrong . 8 inch subs/old school one are better imho.

You must have had your base knob all the way up or you didn’t set your cross over right. You can’t blast highs through a sub even if it’s dual voice coil. Amateurs ha!
