Wonderful Addition to the SmartHome Enabled Product Line
I use this motion sensor to turn on the lights to my office when I walk in. Using the SmartHome app, the pairing of the unit with the SmartHome hub was easy and setting up the sensor to work with the wallplate that my desktop light is plugged into was a breeze. My only problem with this unit was when removing the strip to allow the included battery to activate the sensor for pairing and use. A small metal "finger" that holds the battery in place and provides electrical continuity broke. I had to take the unit apart to troubleshoot "no power" and used glue to re-attach the metal piece. New isn't always better
These new Samsung motion detectors are nowhere near as reliable as the older "SmartThings" motion detectors. I have several of both versions and the Samsungs are constantly disconnected, where the older SmartThings model is absolutely bulletproof.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
