Ammo Checker
Just what i needed to see if my full length resize die was positioned correctly. After checking the sixty 308 Win. rounds I had loaded with the new Lyman checker, it showed that all the rounds were not to correct specs. I had to turn down the full length die one and a half more turns so the RCBS Summit press would cam down onto the shell holder. Just wished I had the Lyman ammo checker earlier and I wouldn't have had to take all rounds apart and resize them again. Great product and it will be used all the time to make sure that the headspace is correct before I run off a bunch of rounds. I love this tool
This Lyman case checker is a multi cartridge tool. I load for many of the included cartridge sizes with room to grow. This tool has many of the common sizes. If you’re looking for wildcat or less common cartridges then this isn’t for you. If you reload common LARGE rifle calibers this tool is for. Essential for any LARGE rifle reloader.
