I WOULD HAVE GAVE IT 5 STARS BUT NOT ENOUGH INPUT AND OR OUTPUT POSSIBILITYS ON THE WAY YOU CAN PLUG AND PLAY MULIPTLE TYPES OF CORDS..AS WELL AS THE SHIPPING TOOK WELL OVER A WEEK JUST AS ALWAYS FROM ROCKVILLE...SLASH AUDIO SAVINGS...BUT THAT WAS THE ONLY 2 COMPLAINTS CAUSE IT IS A CROWN AND IT REALLY DOES THE JOB ALL THE WAY AND THEN SOME...BOTTOM LINE YES WORTH THE MONEY AND SHOULD HAVE GOT 2...GREAT JOB GUYS YOU ROCK...and btw. I HAVE IT HOOKED TO A SONY AVR PUSHING 2 18 INCH ROCKVILLE SUBS FOR MY THEATRE AND IT THUMPS ...😃

I finally put this amp to use. I use the amplifier with a Yamaha sound board couple with JBL JRX200 speakers, and the amp blows me away. I can only turn the know a couple of notches before it hurts my ears. I am really impress how much power this thing provides. I like that the amp has cooling fans (2x) so I should never have to worry about overheating. The amp has an attractive face plate, and I like how the lights glow in darkness.

Crown amps don't dissappoint
I needed to add a power amp to my home theater for the front towers. There are a lot of boutique products in the marketplace, however, good solid amps with a long history are often overlooked. Crown amps have long been the cornerstone of large concert PA's. In a previous life I mixed sound on large systems and am very familiar with the brand. This amp is more than enough to meet my needs.

Powerful and versatile amp
This XLi 1500 amp puts out a real 330 watts per channel at 8 ohms. It's also low in distortion and flexible so it can be used as a dj amp or for beefing up your home stereo. It blows away my Yamaha receiver which has 140 watts per channel and cost way more than the Crown amp. You get robust bass with clean mids and highs. Just be sure you have speakers that can handle all that power. It can easily push four full sized Klipsch towers without breaking a sweat.

I love this thing. I have it normally hooked up to PA subwoofers but they can do that plus so much more. With this amount of power it can take care of a lot of amplification needs. Great buy!
