Great Sound & Comfortable To Play
My biggest concern of this acoustic-electric (AE) guitar was the type of pickup. I'm used to transducer pickups on AE guitars. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only did it sound great acoustically, but through an amp as well. I was also very pleased that you can use bronze & phosphor bronze strings on it, which I do. I also find it very comfortable to play sitting on a stool. I would recommend this guitar to anyone wanting a really good AE guitar without having to spend big bucks. This guitar has a nice looks and is well made. I like it running through an amp but not too much not. Small body thin sound almost like a toy. It's not very easy to play out if the box. Strings are 12s. I replaced with 10s and adjusted the trust. Action is still too high so next would be lowering the bridge and nut. That requires a pro and I'm not sure a $300 guitar is worth it. Ibanez does include an extra bridge. I haven't compared bridges to check if the extra is lower. Acoustics intonations are much more trickier than electrics.
