Thermostat cycling and always calling for heat
This thermostat only lets the heat deviate about 0.5 degree. If you set it for a specific temp it will not move from that temp. It causes my heater to cycle on and off a whole lot more than my last thermostat which was functioning fine, but is 20 years old. I spent hours researching and varying the cycles per hour setting, only to find out that the temp overrides any cycle setting that is programmed. It still cycles on and off too much, which can't be to good for all the moving parts in the heater. I have a 93+% efficient heater, if my gas and electric bill is through the roof this month this stat is coming out.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Thermostat fit the existing base.
