Just like being at the movies!
We have the projector permanently mounted inverted and 17 feet from the screen. That gives us a HUGE image 110" wide with VERY nice resolution. Even with the pull down screen mounted above/in front of patio sliding doors we still have a very clear image during the daytime. But most important is that now every night is movie night!

Digital 3D for a reasonable price
The projector is reasonably priced low cost 3D. Picture quality is good. The only problem is that it doesn't appear to throw a large enough picture in a short space. Epson 3D projector that I bought a couple of years ago covers my entire 120" screen plus, while this projector only covers about 2/3 of the screen from the same distance. Both projectors claim to cast a picture up to 300". My Epson projector does. I don't know about this Viewsonic unit. Perfect for outdoor movie nights
Bought this projector to do outdoor/pool movie nights and the first one was awesome! I set up the projector before it got dark so that I could easily make all the connections and adjustments. Within 5 minutes we were playing Nintendo Wii, on an 6' x 6' screen, and it wasn't even close to dark out. The projector is extremely bright and was very easy to get a sharp picture. I would highly recommend this project to anyone wanting to do something similar. Next test will be projecting a movie over the pool onto a 12' screen... Quality projector without breaking the budget.
Bought this projector for my home theater. I use a ceiling mount at 16' from a 125" diagonal screen. No problem with throw distance. Picture is clear and sharp. Very bright picture in low light application. Especially happy that this unit had an HDMI input. Although designed primarily as a presentation projector it does a very good job with DVD/BluRay video. Would recommend this unit to anyone wanting a true dual use projector.

Awsome Picture!!
I researched for months before pulling the trigger on this refurbished view sonic. Thought I was going to have to spend at least 1,000.00$ for a high quality projector.....glad I was wrong. This unit is quiet and super bright with picture comparable to my LED TV. With our 120" manual screen, movie night is a family favorite.
