I LOVE this thing!
This freed up my oven on Thanksgiving for all the other things that I needed to cook. The 19-lb turkey that I cooked was very moist and had crispy skin. I made my best-ever smoked pork shoulder with a lot less hassle than using my large outdoor smoker - and in half the time with a fraction of the wood chips! It tasted just as smoky and was much more juicy with a great crust. I also roasted a chicken in it and it was moist, tender and delicious. I cook in this now instead of the oven even when I don't need the oven for something else because it uses less energy, doesn't heat up the house and keeps things more moist while cooking. This is definitely my new favorite kitchen appliance. I think several family members will buy one now after tasting the turkey - it was the talk of the night. Oh yeah, I also smoked ribs in it too. I've only had it for about a month and I've used it more than I would have used my oven in that time. I will definitely be getting rid of my large smoker now.
