Great way to temporarily install a SATA drive
I store ISO images on various SATA drives. This device makes it very easy to mount a drive when I need to retrieve those ISOs. FYI: on Windows 7 I do have to go to Control Panels, Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Storage, Disk Management, and take the drive offline so I can eject it, then put the drive back online when I plug in a new drive.

the adapter is very solid and detects the HDD immediately. the ON/OFF switch is very useful . the USB 3.0 is also a plus as it moves the data very fast if using a USB 3 capable computer.We use it at work in an IT Lab in a daily basis. I recommend this product.
