Hey. I have an Epiphone guitar that came with these miserable Kluson-ish tuners that had 20 years of use on them. I changed them out with Schallers, and had to make the holes bigger. I then decided I wanted those Schallers elsewhere (they were chrome, my Epiphone has a gold motif). What to do? Stumbled across Kluson Revolution tuners on Ebay. A bit pricey, but what isn't. OK....they more or less fit over the little screw holes on my Epiphone SG (had to drill 2 holes), and the larger tuning pegs fit right into the bigger holes I made for the Schallers. So....The Kluson Revolution tuners look right at home on an Epiphone SG from the rear of the headstock, the large holes I made are filled up and covered at the front of the headstock, and these Klusons work like the Schallers did. So....all happy. Me and my epiphone can get on with our lives. Salut.
These fit Les Paul. If you have a Les Paul and are unhappy about the clunky feel of the tuners it came with, BUY THESE. It tunes like a fine guitar SHOULD now.
