This gun is NOT what you expect! It's so much better!
I purchased this gun for recreational use at home. I have never had an electric airsoft gun, so this was purchased just to see if I liked the technology involved. When I received the gun I was not disappointed. Let me begin by saying this gun is heavy. By heavy I mean it has the realistic feel to it. The battery is much easier to install and remove than I thought it would be. The hammer has no other function other than locking the slide in place. The trigger is smooth on both settings. Semi-auto and auto are a mere click away. A working safety keeps you from firing the gun accidentally. The clip is solid and slides smoothly in and out of the gun. Finish all this off with a picaniny rail, and this is a beast of a gun! I have run approximately 500 rounds through it since I received it, and both the paper targets and the metal ones have proof of what this gun is capable of. I would highly recommend this gun to anyone interested in electric airsoft. Just always remember to play safe act as if all firearms are always loaded ;)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lots of Desert Eagle versions (air soft, not real weapon)are available on market. I picked this version since it battery operate and the battery is rechargeable. For the one I received, excellent built quality, little heavier than expected. The magazine is smoothly slide out/in the receiver. The top cover is perfectly fitted and locked by a single mechanism, the hammer. Insert and remove battery is easy. A small level helps to remove the battery with a simple push. The fire rate is fast, faster than the common airsoft M4. I haven't loaded and fire with the included ball, so no idea about the range or accuracy. In all, I like the gun more than I thought when order it. However, it surprises me that the top rail is wider than the common rail found on most air soft gun. Due to the odd size of the top rail, I was unable to mount a mini holographic reflex sight that mounted perfectly on other three airsoft M4's that I owned. The shorter bottom rail is fine. Get it while you can
I love this gun. Accurate and pretty quite. Good weight and build quality. Got 960 rounds on one full battery charge. Might want to get some extra mags as this gun will empty it in seconds in full auto. Wish they offered an extended high capacity mag. Just so you know it is huge compared to other pistols. Fps is a little low but shoots really well due to its adjustable hop up. Cyma aeps are hard to come by so get it while you can. A great AEP for the price
The pistol is surprisingly accurate for an AEP . The weight allows it to stay on target without too much wobble . The only issue with it (other than the god awful orange tip) was the battery is quick to drain , however it is a side arm and your not going to run this nonstop . I purchased this gun jus for kicks (and because I can't afford a real Desert Eagle) and I must say, IT IS FUN! It's accurate, heavy, shoots fast, and feels real.
