This works perfect for an old car with no aux port!
I was able to easily install this in my 1999 Chrysler Concorde. We ran the power and ground to the fuse box, but we could have very easily spliced it into the power going to my cigarette lighter. It was very easy to install! I also added a second cigarette lighter outlet, which has one aux and one usb port. This connects to the aux port using rca to aux cable, and then the usb port connects to power for charging. Works wonderfully! I drilled a hole so that the power switch would be accessible, but it turns out that that is unnecessary. You can leave the power switch on all the time, and you just won't be able to listen to the 1 station it broadcasts over (which is fine b/c there are no stations on 87.9 anyways).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Aux input on factory stereo!

Check your antenna connector before you buy!
The connector at the end of the antenna is the important part! The connector on my vehicle was a smaller version of the connectors on this particular model (IS31) Had to cut the antenna connector and male connector from the modulator, swap, solder, and proceed. For +12 voltage, I tapped the switched wire at the back of the radio connector. For ground, screwed lead down with radio ground (right side of radio) For switch, you will have to drill a hole in your dash, unless dangling switches are you thing. Just what i needed

Quality Surprise
I was skeptical of this unit being capable of providing decent sound quality though an antennae connection, however, all doubts were completely extinguished, it sounds perfect. If you use Poweramp for Android which provides preamp gain, limiter and plenty of EQ, you will have everything you need to push the signal as needed. In my case, I turned the tiny attenuation pot of the unit all the way up then backed off slightly to keep it from being on the edge of conductivity where it might let the signal drop out. I was able to put the entire unit in the glove box of my old 2001 Cobra and run the wires over the back and directly into the center console behind the stereo head unit (hot, ground, and antennae Y) with the input cable tucked under the lower center console up to the side of the passenger seat. For my Mach 460 harness, Accessory Hot: Black/Pink, Ground: Black/Light Green with the antennae Y connector looped in to the antennae of the head unit of course.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Super convenient and easy to set up
Bought for my 1982 Chevy El camino. Got it all hooked up in a matter of minutes. Works great with the stock radio. Only modifications I made were crimping an adapter so I could plug into my fusebox.
