    Finest Japanese Tooling

    Screwdriver is high quality, hefty and with weight. Finest Japanese tooling and quality control. Original company to become Vessel was founded in 1916. Most of the top ten to twelve Japanese tools companies have been around since the 1920s and 1930s. They have a long history in metallurgy and milling. Finish and quality are top-notch. Vessel makes top quality stuff. Drivers are full-tang with striking end cap and hex on the shank. Tips non-chromed and hardened. Bi-component handles with some stippling. These will be in good shape decades down the road. I love the top-end Japanese tools. Vessel, KTC, Keiba, Fujiya, 3.Peaks, Ko-ken, TONE, Tsunoda, Merry, IPS, and others.

    Best screwdriver made.

    I own at least a dozen new Snap On soft grip and several Mac tools screwdrivers ,I don't buy cheap tools. I did not have any JIS screw drivers and decided to try this one and I am glad I did. The scew tip just grips fasteners both JIS and Philip's very well,it is bolstered for removing stuck screws, it also has a solid striking cap and it is heavy leading me to believe the shaft goes all the way to the striking cap. Sorry U.S.A. but Vessel made in Japan just built the strongest screw driver available.

    JIS screwdriver

    The red gripped screwdriver fits in your hand well an has a bit of weight to it. It is a bit expensive for a driver but if you work on or restore old Japanese stuff, well you no there screw heads lack strength or are already stripped. That is where these sort of drivers come in. Made just for those screws, this driver is perfect. An it realy grabs screws that you might have thought stripped. Over all well worth the money.

    The difference between stripping and removing a screw

    This screwdriver is the difference from stripping out a Phillips head screw and removing it. While visually, it may seem like every other Phillips head screwdriver, if you're removing a screw from a Japanese piece of machinery, you're going to want one of these.
