I drive a semi truck over the road. I do flatbed/heavy haul and after 10 years of banging this watch against everything imaginable, I have yet to rub the lettering or evey scuff this watch that would be noticable. It still looks brand new You can't break them as far as I'm concerned. Best watch for real work or play. Just bought a new one for my collection. If you buy one you won't regret it.
