  • Goes Low Enough! Finally!

I got this to replace a double x stand. Those things shouldn't even be sold. This stand goes low enough, at 23.2" to get even a thick piano like mine, (4"), down to just over 28" to the tops of the white keys, which is the standard height of a Steinway, and good enough for me. I also just wanted it lower, because my arms were tired from being forced to play too high. The legs are infinitely adjustable, on a track. They're a little bit tricky if you're constantly going to break it down, but if you mark your preferred height on the legs, it would be easy to find it again without measuring. Mine's staying in one place, so not an issue. Also, the adjustment knob in front might touch your knee if it's adjusted real low. I solved this by simply removing it. It still has the back knob, and with all the metal still enclosed in the bigger tube, it's not going anywhere. Again, not an issue for me at all, since mine isn't going anywhere. The stand is very sturdy, and has a ton of leg room so you can sit properly, and not end up with a backache from hunching over. They really ought to advertise the extreme adjustability of this thing. I could not find any other stand made like this that went down so low, and that's important, I'm glad I found it. Very good stand.

  • Perfect stand, very sturdy

I previously bought a double barreled " X " stand for $20, stupidly believing the claim that it could "hold 2 full size keyboards". It held my single keyboard for about a week and a half after the return policy was expired. I actually feel almost lucky that I still have my keyboard. I heard a loud metallic snap noise and happened to be looking in that direction. it dropped about 2 inches. The weld on the pin holder gave out, but kept it from fully snapping off. Never again. If you like what you own, be weary of what you buy to keep it off the floor. The extra $30 will keep me from spending hundreds on repair or replacement. Aside from the obvious sturdiness (I put twice the weight of my 48 pound keyboard on it and even pushed down on it), there are a couple of things about it that I really like. The table configuration not only allows for a more piano-like feel with your legs free underneath to use any pedals you have, but it also allows for you to push a bench underneath when not in uses. Also, the little holes on the sides allow the small legs of my keyboard to rest inside to prevent any sliding or movement. The range of adjustability is 100%. I adjusted it three times to get it right, but now it's perfect and the same height as my actual piano which makes for zero adjustment in terms of posture or playing position when going back and forth. Last thing: although I don't intend to travel or move my keyboard much, the stand folds to a very manageable size and is easy to put up or take down. I've only had it a short while, but I'm close to 100% certain that I've bought my last one. Time will tell, but I'm pretty happy.

  • Great product

This is a great stand it folds up nice and easy. The only thing is it is only for sitting and not standing. But I have found a great use for it and really enjoy it's simpleness and sturdiness.

  • lightweight but sturdy

Bought this to replace an older X-stand that was holding up a very heavy older Kurzweil 88-key synth at my church. No rocking or shaking of the keyboard any more. The 4-leg tabletop design allows legroom to work your pedals.

  • Great stand at a great price

I like this stand. It's well constructed and has a good range of adjustability. It's plenty strong for my Sub37.

  • Easy to setup

Pretty light, easy to carry, just wished it could go higher so it is possible to play while standing

  • EXCELLANT DULCIMER STAND

I know this is a keyboard stand but I bought it to use as a dulcimer stand. It's sturdy and stable. Instead of a stand-up stand I can lay the dulcimer horizonally on it and not have to worry about it accidentally getting knocked over. Exactly what I wanted
