As a woodworker myself, I could have made this birdhouse very easily. But for the price, I wouldn't even start even thinking about making it because of so much shipper just buying it. I am/was really disappointed in the workmanship. Also, arrived with one side of the roof warped so bad it couldn't be screwed on flat and the other side was broke in half. There were knots and I think it may have split at that point when it warped.
