I've only used this instrument 3-4 times but I'm super happy so far. Accurate, easy to use, etc. I read a couple reviews about difficulty understanding the owners manual....it's no more difficult than a new cell phone. Appears to be pretty intuitive to me. Haven't used it outdoors yet - this is half the reason we bought it though. I'm sure it has way more capabilities than we'll ever use. First job paid for itself - saved us 5-6 man hours. Btw - we also bought the tripod, laser enhancing glasses and target card. Played around with them all and would recommend them all for large industrial projects.
