I took a chance on this harmonica first because the price so low, & 2nd I saw a professional player review on YouTube & he liked it a lot. I do too, it plays well right from the box. Its quieter than my Hohner Special 20(& a fourth of the price!)which sometimes I like when trying a new song. Its easy on the mouth, no sharp edges & for the price, honestly, I don't know how they do it! I buy cheaper ones to practice after blowing out a few good ones(ouch!)& I think this is far superior to ones I've had for twice the price. If u r beginner or good player, this is an excellent choice. I'm VERY HAPPY!

I'm not giving this product a 5 star just because i'm not too familiar with Harmonicas. i will be buying a more expensive Hamromica in the near future and then i'm be about to compare. For now, i'll say it plays ok. For the money i think its a great value. Yes, I would recoment this harmoica to someone that has never own a harmonica before and one and doesn't know much about harmoicas.

Impressed with even the higher notes from such a budget harmonica. realistically, you can't expect a whole lot for this price, but I'm very happy with how pure and even the notes are even at the top and bottom of the instrument's register. This will do just fine as this violinist learns an instrument small and robust enough to take camping!
