Hogue 58000 Rubber Grip for Dan Wesson Large Frame 44 Mag Pistol
The Hogue 58000 molded rubber pistol grip perfectly fits the Dan Wesson 44 Mag pistol. This grip comes with its own slotted-head screw as the Hogue grip design, unfortunately, cannot use the original DW Allen head screw. This medium-density grip material feels great in the hand and really reduces felt recoil - which makes shooting much more pleasurable than using the stock wooden grips.This grips narrows or tapers a bit at the bottom end making the grip diameter smaller at the end - this feature makes this grip somewhat difficult to hold tightly at the very end if you have normal size hands. Shooters with large hands may not like this grip shape. I also have a Pachmayr hard rubber grip that I use on this pistol - the Pachmayr grip is shaped more like the factory wooden grip - except the hard rubber absorbs recoil better than wood. A perfect rubber grip IMO would have the shape of the original wooden handle but made from the same wonderful rubber material that Hogue uses.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
