Great, but took a bit getting used to.
Just came from a Gillette Fusion manual and this blows it out of the water. The only thing that took getting used to was the weight and a having the extra two blades. I almost took my face off in a few spots! I have noticed that if I get a fair amount of stubble, I have to prep a bit and shorten the length using an electric trimmer before hand. Only in that blade will snag hairs on the longer side. The shave comes out super smooth! Far better than my other brand. I have noticed that this razor tends to build up hairs in the blades so it need a lot of washing, shaking and tapping. Not sure how to prevent that. Are more blades necessarily better?
After doing extensive reading over the web in regards to this brand and its products I decided to take the plunge and buy this product, hyped as the "ultimate disposable razor". I can tell you that the intended customer for this product seems to be the daily shaver and according to Dorco's customer service the razor heads are intended to last only 6 to 8 shaves, so you may run through a 4 razor pack in about a month. I tend to shave only 1 to two times per week, so I the problems I found on this product is that the high blade count makes Dorco cramp 7 blades in the razor head at a small angle, so if you are not trimming before shaving it will clog the razor head and in my personal experience I could not unclog the head just by rinsing water on it, so I had to use the back corner of a toothpaste tube to unclog each of the 7 razors. Probably this had a negative on the razor head, with the result of the razor becoming dull at the 4th shave. On the upside, the cost of these are about 1/2 the price of Gillette's product, so you are basically getting what you pay for. My intention is to try some other products from Dorco before I dismiss the brand entirely, as probably their Pace 3, 4, or 5 product lines may have longer life and clog less. A definitely plus is that the Pace family allows you to use the same handle with their different models of the same product line.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
