Miracle worker!
I was having a problem with lead build up on the cylinders of two stainless revolvers - none of my current cleaning products would remove any of the residue until I tried KleenBore Lead Away. It Works on severe carbon fouling
Lead Away works as well as JB bore cleaner and is far less messy. I took over a .223 MVP that had minimal if any cleaning for 100+ rounds and the carbon fouling was like a ceramic layer. It took a lot of elbow grease but, the barrel is now nearly to the point that it can be lapped. Of course without a borescope, a person would never know just how much carbon fouling a barrel has, especially at the meeting area of the lands and grooves. Not sure what the vanilla smelling chemical is that the cloth is soaked with, so I would be careful if cleaning a soft steel barrel. Lead Away will now be a permanent part of my cleaning forever!
