Since I retired, it has been more and more difficult for me for me to get around and to lift things. I enjoy working with my hands and this lighter battery operated tool filled the bill. I just simply use it when working around the house. Now I am inspired again to build more projects. Bill

I bought this cordless saw to cut plywood panel to manageable size for final trim on a table saw. Have used it on 3/4" maple and the saw cuts well. However, it works better with an XC battery to get through about 5-7 cuts on a full sheet of 3/4" plywood. Also I purchased a plywood (80+ teeth) blade to minimize ply chip-out that is significant with the blade the comes with the saw.

I like this tool for new home construction its great! When I cut out my hole for the vanity light I missed the blocking during the rough stage, but a quick cut and I had a brace that got the job done. Plus this beats having to start up the generator for some quick cuts... :)
