OK mounts but can be bettef
The mounts are strong and there design is OK but my body won't work well with them. The holes didn't align rite with the set screw. I would have to get a new body and cut new small holes. And make sure ur new body's cab don't have a deep bed cause the screw tab will.make contact with the bed/cabin walls. Wich sucks cause the stampedes body's almost all have the deep bed/cabin in the rear. So now I have to buy the new proline body to make these new mounts work .maybe if the set screws for he caps would of been a little bit longer I could make them work. Them the adjustment on the hight is a little bit tricky cause u can't place ur body on the Mount with out the screw into to make the adjustment cause the set screw on that will make contact with the body if it's not all the way in. Wich then u have to screw the screw all the way in to check it. And the screws is long so u got to screw the crew in and out to keep checking the hight that u might want. So now I had to remove the mounts until I get a new body or a proline body to use theses mounts . .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Adjustable height and nice screws but this thing is made of cheap plastics
Nice product and I really like the fact that you can now adjust the height of the body and replacement of pins with heavy-duty screws. However, I'm very disappointed that this thing is made of cheap plastics, not the type of strong plastics that RPM uses. Proline body mount is junk without a proline body as well.
This will NOT FIT a STOCK STAMPEDE VXL 4x4 BODY, The holes in the stock body sit near ridges that will not allow the caps to screw into the mount. You have to virtually destroy your body to get this to fit properly, do not recommend.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

does not really fit the stampede 4x4
the description says stampede 4x4. Will not work because it would crease the body on the front from the mounting nut. (squashes the body line in the nut). I even wasted money on faster shipping because I had high hopes. Going to 3d print these in hopes my design is far superior.
