Now Foods Saw Palmetto 320 soft gels
Now is by far and away the best of the Saw Palmetto brands Ive tried. EXTRACT rather than leaf is the only way to buy, and the Pumpkin extract adds to the benefits. Staying healthy with preventative supplements has been my norm for now on 30 years, but I will be quick to add that most supplement makers are out of their minds for what they charge for their product, but that's the nature of their business, selling you peace of mind. Now Foods falls in the middle price wise, but is of higher quality, you can;t go wrong, give it a try.

Good move to this product
I think for me it has been a good change in saw palmetto meds. The addition of the pumpkin as an additive has made a major difference in the medication and the extract is stronger in the soft gel allowing for it to be half the size of my other medications and I only have to take 1 dose a day rather than 2 doses of my old medication.

Liquid Extract is Best
Palmetto liquid extract is the ONLY type of supplement that is useful. It inhibits the DHT in our bodies from destroying our natural Testosterone. The ground up bean varieties are WORTHLESS. The average man should use 1200-1500 mg dose per day. Females should use 1000 mg. So the 320 mg size of this company is somewhat small. You have to consume about 3-6 daily. But certainly worth it for the benefits. I’m on the fence as to whether the pumpkin seed oil has an real value. I feel like it’s just a filler they don’t need to add. LESTER D.

NOW is an excellent brand. They are known for the excellent quality of their products. My urologist suggested saw palmetto can be safely used for promoting good prostate health. I have used NOW saw palmetto for several years and have maintained an excellent PSA during that time period. I recommend this product for men over 40; however, they should first consult their PCP or urologist before starting that regime.
