Will it hold a charge when you buy it brand new??? I think so!!!!
The battery is consistent with manufacturing and the required voltage and amps for a charge on the specific phone. Removing of the battery from the phone was easy as with replacing it. No tools required. It is a slim battery so it will flush along the sides of the battery compartment with ease. No need forcing or trying to see how the battery will fit, if you remove the old one in the phone, just match up the positive and negative and you will be fine! I had to charge my phone constantly because it kept on dying out after full charge and kept the phone on less than 30 minutes before my phone had to shut it down.
