This product appears to be well made and a quite piece of machinery. It was easy to assemble and is easy to operate. It is perfect for my circumstances. I would buy it again. Great pump.
Bought this for pumping diesel out of a 55 gallon drum and it works flawlessly for that. It delivers it's rated flow rate. Be sure to pump some diesel thru it into a container to flush the pump out before using it. I got some red paint out of it when I flushed it so glad I did. No leaks and no trouble priming. Mine came with an eight foot fuel hose, nozzle and thread tape. It cost $135. It comes with instructions on how to reverse the flow if for some reason you need that capability. I didn't read into the flow reversing but it appears you could use the nozzle to suck fluid in and discharge it out the suction line if you wanted. I got tired of packing 5 gallon jugs of diesel around for my new mower and this pump solved that. I can load the barrel in my truck and take it to the gas station and buy enough diesel to last a couple months. The pump assembly was simple. Just screw the telescoping suction pipe into the bottom of the pump and slide it out to the length you need. The line will easily reach the bottom of a 55 gallon drum. I didn't lengthen it all the way so it's not sitting right on the bottom of the barrel. The pump has 2" male pipe threads on it so it threaded right into the barrel bung. I've only had mine for a few weeks. No leaks so far and it appears to be a solid pump. The crank handle is removable so you could modify it so it connected to a cordless drill or whatever. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend this pump to anyone.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
