The quality of bcw card sleeves are very great for their low price. I've been using them for 5 years and just recently had one split on me. However it didn't split because it was old it split because another card sleeve with a card in it slide into the sleeve while I was shuffling my MTG deck. Which resulted in the sleeve splitting.

Better than UltraPro
I enjoy these sleeves for my games much more than the Ultra Pro counter part, they have better durability (the tops of the sleeves don't end up with an ever present gap). They also lack the little foil Ultra Pro symbol on the bottom, which depending on the cards you're using can get in the way of important information.
