Farberware Edgekeeper! Excellent set of knives-EXCELLENT!
I bought this set of Farberware Edgekeeper knives for my wife's Birthday and paid less than 1/2 the list price, but, she doesn't know that. She brags and brags about the high quality, how sturdy they are, and sharp! Since they sharpen every time she puts them in the block, I don't have to put her kitchen knives to the stone every other weekend. They go through a rib eye like it was butter, and slice a brisket as if it wasn't there. The handles will never, ever splinter or crack like wood will, and the stainless steel blades are strong enough not to kink or dimple if you hit a bone. Wonderful knike set
I was sceptical at first, seeing is how inexpensive they were, but I can assure you that they are of high quality. They are much lighter than they appear, as the handles are hollow. However, it doesn't detract from their ability to cut through hefty foods. For those that complained about rust, I have yet to run into any as I followed the instructions and hand washed them and dried them thoroughly before putting them back into the block.
