Great carpentry pencil
Being a mechanical pencil, it remains the same size it's entire life, unlike traditional carpenter pencils that get too small to hold. The lead is thick enough & the barrel strong enough, that despite dropping it I've never had the lead break inside. The built-in sharpener under the eraser returns the lead to a sharp point for finish carpentry & for scribing with tools that have measurement notches. I keep one loaded with graphite & one loaded with read for use on different materials. After trying other styles of mechanical carpentry pencils, I believe I'm done searching for an alternative to traditional pencils.
