Good Purchase to use for midi Keyboard slide
Needed to create a keyboard slide under my desk for a pretty standard 49 key Korg Tactile. Even though the keyboard sits on the desk fine, I needed a better way to keep it stored when not in use. Looked around at a bunch of slides on different sites. a lot of these slides look about the same but have different brand names and much different price points (I think a lot of them are in-fact the same slide). If you're using these for a midi keyboard, you need to make sure the slide can pull out further- thus the full extension and not 3/4 versions. These worked pretty well and are decently constructed. I used a thin 1/4 piece of subfloor covering for the shelf along with a couple extra 1/4 6 inch wide pieces which run down the ends for extra support. This gives a sturdy but very light shelf. Midi controller keyboards do not normally weigh a whole lot. Don't forget some type of backstop or your board may get bumped off. Now when at my desk, the keys are about 1/8 visible but when extended the keyboard is almost completely revealed. I don't think you can get decent sliders for less than this. recommended.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
