I only wish it had multiple frequencies
I have 3 of these but all the remotes are the same frequencies and not line of sight (I can turn the remote backwards and it still works) so if I turn one on, they all come on. I remedied this by adding smart sockets to cut power to one I don't want on and just switch it on if needed.. not a perfect solution.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Slow it down
Slow it down! It has three speeds, very very fast and loud, very fast and loud, and fast and loud. I am not trying to cool down an auditorium. Don't call it 'quiet', call it 'lots of air power'. And it has a 'sleep mode'. Who could sleep with all the noise! Even on the slowest speed and 'pulse', it is too loud. A REALLY GREAT PRODUCT!
Very well-designed and high quality. Bigger and heavier than I thought, took two of us to install it. The remote control is a must and the pulse mode is brilliant (fan speed automatically alternates between high and a lower speed). Combined with the circulate mode a room is totally and QUIETLY covered with non-annoying breezes. I use it in my basement workshop to assist a Monitor space heater to quickly fill the room with warm air in the morning. It's mounted on the wall behind the heater and 15 inches above it. Once the temp in the room is stabilized I shut off the fan and the Monitor heater "loafs along" for the rest of the day. Far exceeds my expectations.
This wall fan is a terrific idea and the one sold by Comfort Zone is made very well. This is so much better to mount the fan on your wall, out of the way and have a nice breeze flow throughout the room. Sound is below that of a table mount and it puts a lot more movement in the air than you would think. I also was concerned that 16" would be not enough, lol (if you know why lol, OK ) But it is and would not need any size bigger. I put two in my family room and between them both it stays very nice.
