Yamaha HPH-MT7W The Flatline
First and foremost, what are you buying these headphones for? You have to keep that in mind as you read this. These headphones give an amazingly flat response. I feel like the high and lows are all around the same, the mids might get the most energy out of everything but in reality everything is even. It’s crazy man. I mean these are supposed to replicate NS10’s as well as headphones can. If you are mixing music this is truly the way to go. If you can make something sound good in these, it’ll sound good everywhere. You playing with true tones right here and I love it. I put them up against the Beyer DT990’s and for response they killed them. The Beyers gave a warm tone. I don’t want to hear warm already when I’m trying to mix. I want flat flat flat.
