I'm not a pro carpenter but I do a lot of work on my home I did not have a need to buy a compressor and go that route for a nail gun. After reading the reveiws for this nailer I did have some worries it would'nt be pwerful enought but has proved to be more than enought for the trim work in four rooms I have renovated so far. I am extremely happy with this product and recommend it for a serious handyman.

This electric brad gun works well in softwood (and soft hardwoods like basswood, baltic birch and poplar). Of course it will not drive brads fully into hardwoods, which include oak, birch, cherry, and such. I use an air gun for that. My score on quality is that it is good quality for the price.

It's perfect for the job I had to do and it will be great for the other projects that awaits me in the future it's a very professional tool and yes I will recommend it to anyone else who has home and commercial jobs. Thanks..

It is bigger and heftier than the one I bought 10 years ago, though I thought I was buying the same one again, but this new one seems to be stronger. In any case, it does the job just fine.

This nailer will not set a 1", 18 gauge brad on the highest "+" setting even though it is rated to use up to 1 1/4" brads.
