I really like this alarm clock. It resets itself for daylight saving time and of course being linked to the Atomic Clock it is spot on for accuracy. The display is dimmable so as to not disturb sleep, and can even be turned off. Having battery backup it does not lose time and require a fresh link after intermittent power outages. When power is restored the display lights back up to the correct time. I find the temperature and humidity displays useful too. So why not 5 stars? In the past 5 years I have had two fail. the original early on and it's replacement recently when the dim display went away leaving the choice of bright or off. Despite this I looked and bought identical replacement(s) because of the features. I think this model is out of production. Another con, but typical of atomic clocks, it will not link up if placed near other electronic devices, and the display has to turn off while it links up. That also turns off the phone charging feature and when it comes back on, the phone might provide disturbance depending on your phone.Read full review

I like the look and style of the clock. It hasn't picked up the atomic signal yet but is usable as a regular clock. I do wish that there was a means to set the seconds when setting manually. That way I could set it to my other atomic clock that sets itself every night. There is one feature that I absolutely dislike. The clock turns off the display for about 8 minutes while it is trying to synchronize with the atomic signal. Since the clock has not picked up the signal, it turns the display off every hour on the hour even though there is an icon that flashes when it is trying to obtain a signal anyway. That is very irritating. La Crosse stated that there is no means to turn off this function on this model. I probably would not have purchased the clock if I knew that it was like that. I think it is ok but needs improvements.Read full review

I wanted to get an alarm that sets itself as my other household clocks auto set as well. I was worried after getting it as I have several electrical items on my nightstand, for fear they might interfere with the clock's time signal reception. It has worked perfectly since setting it up. The high low and off display brightness in a good feature as I can leave the display off so it doesn't interfere with my sleep. I'm glad I chose it.

I gave this clock 4 stars because of the atomic clock feature. I tried to set the date for the atomic clock and for whatever reasons the time was never set and the screen went dim. Not sure what's up with that. Other than that, I like this clock. It has a colorful interface and it has very useful information. It's very attractive and interesting for a table clock. It's like a miniature science display monitor. It's unlike any clock I owned. It even has the moon phase feature.

I deducted two stars for these reasons: Glossy face reflects light during daytime and with a room light on. The viewing angles are VERY POOR. The backlight lights up more than just the numbers. The display is quite "noisy" with all the different colors and info. The display goes off completely during time-sync. My cheap "wood clock" has a MUCH better (easier to read) display but it isn't accurate and needs resetting during DST. If my "wood clock" had the atomic feature, it would be 5 stars. I have included pictures of the La Crosse and Wood clocks to compare the displays.
