Almost perfect.
In the past I'd been using Gorilla lifts. This one seem far more Heavy Duty. Just a few minor issues with the install. Not sure why there was 4 holes in the back bracket for mounting the rollers, when there's only 2 holes needed. One of the provided 1/4 bolts for the rollers had no threads on it, just a straight shaft with a hex head on it. Directions stated where to dill the 1/2" hole for different height gates, mine was an odd ball height so the gate sits up off the ground when lowered. If the chain was longer it would be simple enough to make a small adjustment, now I have to connect a short lenght of chain to make it work or figure out where to drill another 1/2 hole which is a real pain to do.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

First off I got this item very fast everything was in the box no missing parts. One page of well written instructions. Hardware is of good quality. Laid everything out measured for all the holes and bolted it together took about 1 hour then 10 min. To adjust. Glad I went with this product

lift makes lowering an raising end gate very easy with no strain at all

Seems much better design and quality so far than Gorilla Lift. It has only been 2 weeks of use since installing. Time will tell of product quality. I think this lift is the best on the market. hardware needs a little help as far as nuts and bolts are concerned
My only problem with the install was that I had to provide most of the nuts and bolts. Bolts were too short for clamping the tubes to the clamps, had to get longer nuts and bolts, Bolts that hold clamps to the frame did not have threads all the way down the bolt, so I could not tighten them, had to get bolts with threads all the way down the bolt. The instructions were pretty good, the quality of the product is good. Even after adjusting the cable the tailgate is still pretty heavy but doable.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
